DRIVER

Key Responsibilities

• Transportation:

  • Safely drive company vehicles to transport goods, materials, or staff to designated locations.
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries or pickups.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.

• Vehicle Maintenance:

  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Report any vehicle issues or damage to the supervisor and arrange for repairs as needed.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and organized.

• Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Complete and submit required paperwork, including delivery receipts and logs.

• Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
  • Ensure the safety of passengers and goods during transport.
  • Follow company protocols for handling hazardous materials, if applicable.

• Customer Service:

  • Interact professionally with customers and clients during deliveries or pickups.
  • Address any customer inquiries or issues promptly and courteously.

• Emergency Response:

  • Respond appropriately to any emergencies or accidents involving the vehicle, including contacting authorities and reporting incidents to the company.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
